The EAACI JM collaboration with juniors of the ERS was established in 2016. It has given the opportunity for representative from ERS juniors to attend the EAACI annual meeting and reciprocally EAACI JMs attend the ERS annual meeting. An agreement for reciprocal funding was established as follows: EAACI agreed to cover registration plus 1000 euros (accommodation and trip) for two ERS representatives to attend EAACI annual meeting and ERS agreed on covering registration plus 1000 euros/person (accommodation and trip) for two EAACI representatives to ERS annual meeting.
During 2020 face-to-face meetings were cancelled thus the budget was not used. ERS juniors were encouraged to become EAACI JMs to attend the 2020 digital congress free of charge thus strengthening the bond between the two JM committees and promoting membership to EAACI. For 2021 2 ERS representatives where provided waived registration to attend the EAACI hybrid meeting. 2 EAACI representatives will also be registered for free for the ERS annual meeting in autumn 2021.
