Challenging Cases in Ocular Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment
Challenging Cases in Ocular Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment
At least half of the allergic patients have ocular allergy symptoms. However, ocular allergies are frequently underdiagnosed, misdiagnosed and not properly managed. Symptoms and signs of ocular allergy can lead to decreased productivity and negatively impact quality of life and sometimes lead to ocular complications and threaten vision. The webinar will cover the clinical findings of ocular allergies (seasonal/perennial allergic conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, atopic keratoconjunctivitis), differential diagnosis, diagnostic tests and new treatment options. Ocular allergies are managed not only by ophthalmologists but also by allergists, pediatricians, rhinologists, general practitioners, even pharmacists. This webinar will be helpful for them, and also for patients who want to be informed about ocular allergies and new treatment modalities.
