INTERAID (International travel electronic support in respiratory, allergy, immunology and dermatology): Digitally-enabled, person-centred care to support travelling patients with allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria (and COPD)

INTERAID has been developed through collaboration between ARIA (Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma) and EAACI to utilize the Ukrainian model of shared-decision making for patients with asthma, rhinitis, or urticaria, in partnership with local physicians.

Traveling patients complete questionnaires and daily symptom-medication scores for asthma, rhinitis (MASK-air), or urticaria (CRUSE) in their native language. In compliance with GDPR, patients then authorize their physician to access the app by scanning a QR code displayed on the physician’s (or healthcare provider’s) computer. This allows the physician to view the app contents in his/her own language.
