Urticarial vasculitis

Urticarial vasculitis

Urticarial vasculitis is a rare and difficult-to-treat condition characterized by long-lasting wheals and vasculitic changes upon skin biopsy. There seems to be considerable overlap with chronic spontaneous urticaria, a much more common disease which presents with recurrent wheals too.The aim of this Task Force is to bring together experts from across Europe to develop, standardize and harmonize diagnostic criteria for urticarial vasculitis.
